Marx has a negative feeling concerning the issue of capitalism for he thinks that capitalism is up to no good but to impact the lives of workers negatively. He also has a feeling that capitalism does not regard them as important people or waged people and this in turn makes their lives uncomfortable. Capitalism is one of the aspects that tend to exist in any business institutions. There are very many business institutions or firms that at times get subjected to a lot of difficulties when it comes to matters pertaining to capitalism.As per Marx perception, capitalism though a good thing, there are times when it turns out to be a bad thing that makes a section of the people’s lives in a poor state where they are not subjected to some of the things that they may need in life. Marx views this issue of capitalism with a di fferent perception as he relates its true meaning to some of the events or actions that he and other colleges experiences especially when it comes to matters pertaining to employment. According to him, there are two categories or classes of which people are grouped into. These classes are proletariat and Bourgeoisie. The two classes are somehow experiencing or subjected to some kind of grudge with each other hence leading to poor relationship among people. The working class which is the Proletariat goes through a lot of tribulation emotionally not physically.This is so due to the perspective under which they are viewed in the society. The society view the working class as rich people hence leading to the rise of two categories that brings a bout the gap between those who fall on the wealthy bracket and others on the poverty bracket (Shenton, 1986). Due to the fact that those in the working class are regarded to be rich, there is always a question left unanswered pegged on whether th e society have obligation to those in the Bourgeois class because they are regarded as the poor. This matter of capitalism is always based on two categories of which are the poor and the rich. Not to forget is how the two classes relate.The gap between the poor and the richThis question is left hanging because people still do not understand why some are made rich or wealthy while others poor. For the poor to live a good life, there has to be cooperation between the poor and the rich. The rich or wealthier fellows should support the poor financial so as to accomplish their dreams in life. This will in turn bridge up the gap existing between these two classes and people will be ranked equally. Though this is what is expected of the wealthy people but in a real life situation, a research carried out in the previous years showed that the rich were not willing to give freely to help their poor fellows. It is therefore the work of the society to find ideal ways of bridging this gap or hel ping the poor by offering assistance where needed. The wealthy in the society are always taxed to by various organs or bodies within the society of which the money collected from them are used to help the poor and to set out some of the projects within the society that can help both the poor and the rich but specifically to those suffering fellows. From this taxation, it can be clearly seen that the society is much concerned about the poor and tries to offer them more alternatives that can make them fit in the society without going through a lot of tribulations.Aims of the society concerning the lives of the poorThe society also aims at redistributing wealth to various places so as to enhance equality among people. This is done through some social mechanism that cannot result to any kind of trouble. Some of the procedures or criteria used are things like taxation, monetary policies, welfare and nationalism. Not to forget is the charity or tort law. This always refer to the progressi ve distribution of resources from the rich to the poor and the vice versa. This kind of distribution is mainly based on the economic and ethical grounds. There are very many types of redistribution depending on the aim of the society. (Malcolm, 2002) There is what is known as income redistribution that is done in a way that, a high income earner, is to pay more tax or is to be taxed more that a low income earner. The money collected from this kind of taxation is therefore used or distributed equally in an indirect manner between the poor and the rich.Techniques used by the society in creating equality among its membersThis is another technique in which the society tries to provide equality among its people and to cater for the poor.   A progressive income levy triggers equal distribution of wealth or resources between the two classes based on the economical status of the community. Though there are many types of distributions set in the society, the paper only focuses on two redistr ibution process that involves property equality among people. Finally, based on the matter of redistribution of resources, property redistribution of another method set in the society to help in bridging the gap between the poor and the rich. This involves nationalization of property in which one is forced to declare his or her property available to others who might not be in a position to own such kinds of properties. This kind of action is governed by certain principles of which all the people must adhere to. There are also programs set to deal with these situations such as land reforms, inheritance levy and eminent domain.Some of the fellows do not accept the terms of these kinds of redistributions as they say that it is unfair and is therefore up to no good to the society. This is so because of the methods used in achieving equality in the society. The complains mainly come from the wealthy or rich people who view the actions taken by these bodies with a different perspective cl aiming that they should be allowed to give generously and with good faith instead of using some king of bad methods in forcing properties out of their ownership. To the poor, there is no problem as they really appreciate the bodies established in the society to enable equality. Not to forget is another complain and perception of the wealthy people in relation to the process of redistribution. From these actions taken in the society, it can also be seen that people if left alone to conduct their own lives, human race can go into extinction as the wealthy only involves in actions that favor their own interests. This is so because technology only favors wealthy people who are able to afford its cost to enhance comfort to their lives. Due to the dynamic nature of technology, the society tries to find ways of making those who are unable to cope up with it, get alternative ways of fitting in the race. (Armitage, 2007)Many scholars in the present world have gone deep in the matter and tries to find out how the society handle the battle of class difference and to even cater for the poor.According to their results, despite the efforts made by the society in ensuring comfort for the poor, they still faced a lot of problems or tribulations that was strongly pinned to their lives. They could still not match of make a step to the economic ladder to evade some of their problems. The society in this case o nly offers assistance when it comes to some of the basic matters that require urgent attention. The kinds of obligations given to the poor in the society are not necessarily based on the negative side but on the positive side that can in turn make a turning point in their lives. However much the society may also try to make life simpler for the poor, it cannot still succeed as the society belongs to all and it is the people living in a particular jurisdiction that is referred to as the society. It is therefore the responsibility of the rich to cooperate with the poor to enable peace and harmony within the society.Various opinions are also given out by various writers in their articles or writings that tend to answer the question posted in the as a thesis in this paper. Natalie Roberts says that the rich have no obligation to give the poor, but as a practical matter they would be wise to do so. The reasons as to why the poor cannot just be abandoned in the society, is to prevent cert ain negative issues that may arise in the society that may also end up causing a catastrophe or disaster. (Plotnick, 1986) As per the people’s perception concerning this matter, a condition does not remain static forever but at one time changes to realize its true meaning. It is said that if the poor are abandoned of left without any kind of support, then the rate of crime rate can climb the ladder to the next level as they will be stricken by poverty and the end result for poverty or decision, is for one to declare his or her live ruined hence engaging into activities such as theft to earn a living. This is one of the reasons as to why the poor are not supposed to be subjected to some kind of negative obligations within the society. Alexander Hamilton also contributed to the comments that were posted by different people concerning the question by saying that the reason as to why we need laws is because mankind is greedy and selfish.From Alexander’s comment, it can be seen that he understands the real meaning of society as he bases his comment on those fellows who are rich and not willing to give so as to help the poor. There are no serous obligations given to the poor by the society except for the rich who tend to put a lot of pressure to the poor with the aim of ruling them indirectly. From this kind of indirect ruling, the rich tend to gain more from the poor only focusing on their own success and wellbeing. Te rich in the society also enjoy every step of economical advancement made but the poor only get much affected by these advancements as they do not have anything to enjoy due to the rise in the living standards that they cannot afford. This therefore calls for the distribution of resources through various means to ensure that when the economy rises, the levies or taxes charged are also increased to help the poor cope up with such changes.Relating to the question that form the thesis if this paper, the poor in today’s world feel a bit better becau se some of the alternative ways have been found that deals with their problems hence they also tend to make some little improvement economically. In the societies, opportunities have been set out for those who are willing to crab then and successfully use them to achieve better future to escape the issue of poverty. (Murphy, 2000) Very many learning institutions have been established to provide people with equal opportunities in life of making sacrifices for a better tomorrow as it is always said that education is the key to success. This can be termed as an obligation that the society creates for the poor. It is an obligation in the sense that, all those who are willing to have a good life come tomorrow, must sacrifice for it by gaining knowledge that can in turn enable then get employed. For those who are not willing, they are left with no any other alternative apart from rendering themselves to be poor and be subjected to poverty and hunger that awaits them in the future.Another obligation that the society subjects the poor to, is struggle for survival, everyone is supposed to work extra hard to earn living. Without work, one cannot get anything to eat or any amount of money to meet some of his or her basic requirements in life. This being an obligation that the poor are subjected to within the society, it falls on the positive side as it is one of the common and basic obligation that everyone has to adhere   to whether wealthy or poor. These are some of the obligations that are that the society has in place for the poor. From the way they are presented, it can be noticed that they do not fall on the negative side but on the positive side. They are only meant to shape one’s life and to give a direction that one should follow in order to achieve some of his or her set goals and objectives in life. The society has no more obligations for the poor apart from the basic ones that are mentioned in this paper. The kind of obligations that the society is supposed to give to its suffering fellows or people, should not involve them in some king of pressure as any tough thing or obligation should be simplified so as to favor the poor.

Intrinsic Value in the Non-Human Natural World When it comes to the question of non-human rights and the value of nature, there are adamant advocates, those who completely disagree with particular values and rights for the ecosystem, and those could care less. For myself, I believe I have fallen somewhat in between these extremes and have honestly never really considered the idea of intrinsic value and certain rights for the non-human natural world. Singer, Baxter, Steinbock and Callicott (with the words and ideas of Leopold) each have very different ideas about animal rights and the concept of the non-human natural world having a value by itself, regardless of human interests. Baxter believes that animal interests dont and should not count and that the natural world has no intrinsic value beyond human interests. In response to Baxters idea, I would first ask him exactly who the people are hes talking to in his defense of this being the way people really think. I think its a bit of a rash assumption to say that because he thinks this way, many others must agree (as I sincerely doubt he has done any research on the subject). Although I do agree with Baxter that it is in humans interests to preserve the environment, but this is because there are many essential functions that humans cannot perform themselves. For instance, the example of bees pollinating flowers, is it a viable probability that humans would be able to find a way to perform this function? Whether loved ones and friends of the deceased choose burial through internment, or produce ashes in a crematory, there is always a respectable method in which to dispose of the body and say a last farewell. In history, the Neanderthals were the first hominids to intentionally bury their dead. The purpose of a funeral in today’s society is to pay respect towards the once living person, and for many, aiding them in their journey to another life while sanctifying their previous life. Although all cultures practice funeral rituals for the dead, there are many different kinds. The most popular are internment and cremation. Internment is the act of burying the body in the ground. The body is place inside of a coffin, and then a hole is dug in a cemetery. Cremation, on the other hand, does not involve a casket. Cremation is the process of reducing a body to ashes by fire in a crematory. Scholars conclude that its history began during the Stone Age around 3000 B. C. E. in and around Europe[2]. Other processes include human dismemberment, as Tibetans practice (called Tibetan Sky Burial). Monks essentially mutilate the body and wrap it up in white cloth. They bring it atop a mountain for vultures and other birds; They believe in reincarnation, thus the body is an empty vessel[3]. Along with these, there is also Aboriginal Body Exposure, in which the body is left on a platform covered with Ferry 2 leaves to let the corpse decompose naturally [4]. It is practiced by the Australian Aborigines today. My grandmother’s funeral included cremation of her body. After the church ceremony, my father and his siblings, along with a couple of her closest friends, were taken out to the bay by boat to let her ashes fall in the water. When the tragedy strikes, the closest relatives contact all other family members and good friends to inform them of his/her bereavement. During a burial ceremony, the group will attend a mass and a viewing, closed or open casket. This is mostly taken place in a house of worship (church, mosque, temple, etc. ). Afterword, there is a post-funeral dinner or gathering at a restaurant or relative’s home to celebrate the life of the deceased. Music is played, food is eaten, and memorable photographs are displayed for all to enjoy. This is intended to be a positive experience in which everyone reflects on his/her accomplishments and the happy times. For my grandmother’s funeral, flowers were sent to the church we had attended during mass and the viewing. My aunt had spoken a few words in front to everyone about her mother, and we went to a restaurant to have a catered meal and reminisce. The death of a loved one will be difficult for anyone. The funeral may be the hardest part of the bereavement process. The experience of a funeral may be different for every individual attending; one person may feel relief if the deceased was suffering from an illness. One may feel loss, anger, or even contentedness (celebrating the person’s life and achievements). During my grandmother’s funeral, I was grieving, yet during the after-dinner I felt relieved and happy that she was no longer in pain on Earth. The purpose of a funeral is to remember the one who passed away, and to give condolences to those who are grieving, and to give a proper religious ceremony for the deceased. My view on the funerals which I am accustomed to is that they give reassurance of a happy afterlife, and it gives closure as well. Hypospadia is a condition were the opening of the urethra is on the underside of the penis, instead of at the tip. A few of the systems that are associated with Hypospadia are a downward curve of the penis, a hooded appearance of the penis because only the top half of the penis is covered by foreskin and abnormal straying during urination. This is a condition that is usually diagnosed when infants are still in the hospital, however it is possible that less severe cases may over overlooked. Hypospadia is sometimes inherited, but not always. As the penis develops in a male fetus, certain hormones stimulate the formation of the urethra and foreskin. Hypospadia occurs in the action of these hormones, causing the urethra to develop abnormally. There are three different degrees of Hypospadia. The first one is the most common and occurs in about 50-75% of all cases. It is when the urethral meatus opens on the glands penis. Second degree is when the urethra opens on the shaft and third would be when the urethra opens on the perineum. During a physical examination of a newborn with Hypospadia it is helpful to have a retrograde urogram done to provide pictures of the urinary tract. It is used to check for other abnormalities of the kidneys or the tubes that carry the urine. Hypospadia is easily treated with surgery to reposition the urethral opening and if necessary straighten the penis. During the surgery a urologist uses tissue grafts from the foreskin or form the inside of the mouth to reconstruct the urinary channel in the proper position. If this is not fixed while the person is young it can lead to blood in the urine, known as hematuria or infection, narrowing of the urethra and curvature of the penis. Hermia, Believer in True Love Hermia is a feisty young lady who knows what she wants and does whatever she can to get it. She is even prepared to give up her family and way of life to marry Lysander, agreeing to elope with him into the forest. However, she is still a lady and ensures that nothing untoward goes on between them. She keeps her integrity by asking him to sleep away from her: â€Å"But gentle friend, for love and courtesy/Lie further off in humane modesty† (Act 2, Scene 2). Hermia assures her best friend, Helena, that she is not interested in Demetrius, but Helena is insecure about her looks in comparison with her friend and this somewhat affects their friendship: â€Å"Through Athens, I am thought as fair as she./But what of that? Demetrius thinks not so?† (Act 1, Scene 1) Hermia wishes the best for her friend and wants Demetrius to love Helena: â€Å"As you on him, Demetrius dote on you† (Act 1, Scene 1). However, when the fairies have intervened and both Demetrius and Lysander are in love with Helena, Hermia gets very upset and angry with her friend: â€Å"O me, you juggler, you canker blossom/You thief of love- what have you come by night/And stol’n my loves heart from him† (Act 3, Scene 2). Hermia is again compelled to fight for her love and is willing to fight her friend: â€Å"Let me come to her† (Act 3, Scene 2). Helena confirms that Hermia is a feisty character when she observes, â€Å"O, when she is angry she is keen and shrewd!/She was a vixen when she went to school./And though she is little, she is fierce† (Act 3, Scene 2). Hermia continues to defend Lysander even when he has told her that he no longer loves her. She is concerned that he and Demetrius will fight, and she says, â€Å"Heavens shield Lysander if they mean a fray† (Act 3, Scene 3). This demonstrates her unerring love for Lysander, which drives the plot forward. All ends happily for Hermia, but we do see aspects of her character that could be her downfall if the narrative were different. Hermia is determined, feisty, and occasionally aggressive, which reminds us that she is Egeus’ daughter, but we admire her steadfastness and faithfulness to Lysander. Headstrong Egeus Egeus father is domineering and overbearing to Hermia. He acts as a foil to the fair and even-handed Theseus. His proposal to bring the full force of the law on his daughter- the penalty of death for disobeying his orders- demonstrates this. â€Å"I beg the ancient privilege of Athens/As she is mine, I may dispose of her- /Which shall be either to this gentleman/Or to her death- according to our law/Immediately provided in that case† (Act 1, Scene 1). He has decided, for his own reasons, that he wants Hermia to marry Demetrius instead of her true love, Lysander. We are unsure of his motivation, as both men are presented as eligible; neither one has more prospects or money than the other, so we can only assume that Egeus simply wants his daughter to obey him so he can have his own way. Hermias happiness appears to be of little consequence to him. Theseus, Duke of Athens, placates Egeus and gives Hermia time to decide. Thus, the problem is resolved as the story unfolds, though this is no real comfort to Egeus. In the end, Hermia gets her way and Egeus has to go along with it; Theseus and the others happily accept the resolution, and Demetrius is no longer interested in his daughter. However, Egeus remains a difficult character, and  the story  ends happily only due to intervention by the fairies. Had they not been involved, its possible that Egeus would have gone ahead and executed his own daughter had she disobeyed him. Fortunately, the story is a comedy, not a tragedy.
